Meteo Explorer
The METEO EXPLORER is a new electronic weather station with a “multicriteria weather forecast system - a world first.

Many existing electronic weather stations give a forecast after verification of the atmospheric pressure alone, this is insufficient and gives no more information than a mechanical barometer. The METEO has intelligent software which takes into account the pressure and the rate of change, and through its outdoor sensors detects the arrival of weather fronts (for example hot and humid, cold and dry, etc….).

A forecast which in the process of being computed is indicated by the “flashing arrows between the icons.

Thanks to its “intelligent software, the METEO EXPLORER detects whether the combination of data available to it allows it to make a reliable forecast or not. It permanently displays the confidence rating of its own forecast, which may vary from 0 to 5.

The METEO EXPLORER has the following main features:

A new generation numerical pressure sensor giving it a quasi professional accuracy of +/- 0.5 hPa or +/- 0.03 inHg.
A choice of graph display: indoor or outdoor temperature / hygrometry, pressure over the last 48 hours, with “zoom effect over 24, 12 or 6 hours.
A strong winds alarm – another world first. The windsock flickers when it detects risks of constant wind or strong gusts for the coming hours.
A unique new system for forecasting frost. The LCD snow crystal flickers when it detects conditions likely to result in a frost. This forecast is valid for the following 6 to 8 hours. If the frost is set in, the crystal remains permanently lit.
