Patented Magnetic Sensor Technology: The V500 Series uses patented magnetic sensor technology designed for the U.S. military --- the same technology used by GM, Ford, and DaimlerChrysler.
Easy-to-Read Display: All models show the direction traveled with 16 cardinal points (N, NNE, NE, ENE, etc.). The V600 shows 1° numeric digits (345°, 346°, 347°, etc.) for precise heading information.
